Founded in 1949, the Gabor company has grown to become Germany’s leading ladies’ footwear manufacturer. The Gabor company produces around 25,000 pairs of shoes each day – churning out fashionable footwear for women and men at a staggering rate. Gabor is still owned by the family that founded it – making the Gabor brand unique among its competition. Popular women’s shoes from Gabor are divided into three categories – fashion, comfort and jollys. Each collection has a variety of heels, flats and sophisticated boots to meet the needs and style demands of even the fussiest fashionista. Leadiing offerings from the Fashion range include Gabor’s court shoes with an elastic strap at the instep, 50mm baroque heels and femininely creased leather uppers; pointed ankle boots with narrow heels in fashionable colours and effects; and their stunning retro-style patent leather high boots with lateral buckles and a smooth profile.
The women’s comfort range at Gabor includes soft calfskin ankle boots with a wide-profile heel; low-heel city boots with elasticated calves and subtle leather antiquing; and the almost sporty, trainer-style pumps in calfskin. The other women’s collection from Gabor, Jollys, includes asymmetrical slip-ons and relaxed-fit boots. Gabor’s offering for men is equally detailed, including a collection of ankle boots, Derby-style shoes and other interesting options.
