One of the leading brands in UK footwear since the 1970s has got to be Kickers. The brand was founded by Daniel Raufast in 1968 with the simple aim of developing shoes that better fit the mood and style of the day. His shoes used softer, nubuk leather paired with crepe soles in innovative shapes that were more similar to boots than the shows traditionally on offer at the time. Within a season, Kickers were producing 12,000 pairs of shoes each month.
Today, Kickers are available just about everywhere – in 70 countries around the world, as well as from countless retailers in the UK and online. With popular shoes for men, women and children, it’s no surprise that the Kickers name is synonymous with fun, quality footwear.
Popular Kickers styles for men include: the iconic, classic Kick-Hi in a variety of colours; the Street Lo and Street Hi trainers; and the smartly styled Jensen in brown and tan. Women’s shoes from Kickers include: the Kick-Hi and Kick Bling, as well as the Klek and Mann boots; also, the Rivet Lo, Beat lo and Street Velcro shoes are popular with women looking for casual shoes with that special something. The Kickers collection for kids is bountiful, ranging from baby and toddler shoes to school shoes and casual shoes to meet almost any taste. In addition to the standard ranges, Kickers offer a variety of limited edition shoes, like the Kick HoH by House of Holland and the men’s boot by Noki.
