Known the world over for incorporating athletic technology into ordinary casual shoes, the Rockport company was founded in 1971. Rockport shoes are known their slip-resistant soles, as well as weather-resistant uppers. The company, headquartered in Massachusetts, is owned by Adidas today – but still maintains its independence by producing a solid selection of sensible shoes for men, women and children.
Arguably, Rockport’s most famous footwear collection is the ProWalker series.
